*Students majoring in French who will seek admission to law school should see the recommendations under "Preparation for Law School" and should ask their academic advisor to integrate into their curriculum the recommended courses. In the science courses, one sequence must be in physical science and the other in biological science. Students majoring in French must take a minimum of 27 semester hours of French exclusive of French 101-102. Students who begin at the French 200 level in their freshman year may take French junior-level courses in their sophomore year and French senior-level courses in their junior year. Twelve hours of the core curriculum electives must be taken from the following groups outside the major area: Group II - Anthropology, Criminal Justice, Economics, Geography, Government, Mass Communication, Sociology, Psychology; Group III - Art, Foreign Language, History, Literature, Music, Philosophy, Speech, Theatre. A minimum of 3 hours must be taken from each group. |
